Day 1

Arrival at O R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg where you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the leafy suburbs of the East Rand.

Day 2

We depart Johannesburg this am after breakfast. En route we stop for a tea break and visit a Ndebele village, and see some of the traditional dress of this tribe, who lived in this area, proceeding on our journey, we stop for lunch in the northern Drakensberg Escarpment area at a restaurant and then continue to Graskop, a little haven on the edge of the escarpment. In the evening, your guide will give a presentation about the area, history of South Africa, its people and the scenic beauties you will see the next day.

Day 3

A full day of visiting all the wonderful sights of this area such as the Bourkes Luck Potholes, Gods Window, various waterfalls, and the Three Rondavels.
Return to the hotel in the evening. Proceed to our hotel on the border of the Kruger National Park.

Day 4

This morning is an early departure on a full day open vehicle safari with our expert guide through the Kruger National Park. A light picnic breakfast will be enjoyed en route, and a lunch stop will be made in the park.

Return to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 5

Full day open vehicle safari in the Kruger National Park

Day 6

After breakfast, we transfer through the rolling hills of Eswatini visiting Ngwenya Glass, where we stop for lunch, and then on to a cultural village to partake of music, a cultural tour and a show. Arrival in the late afternoon at our accommodation.

Day 7

On our way out of Eswatini, we do the “crafts route” we visit the batik shop, candle factory, and the local market. We depart Eswatini through the southern border and into the beautiful lush KwaZulu Zulu Natal province of South Africa.

Day 8

Today, we do a self drive through the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve, in search of elephants, rhino, and the elusive cats! This National Park is very different to the Kruger National Park, as it is greener, with thicker vegetation, and so hosts some species of animals not often seen in the Kruger National Park. There is the option at an extra cost of doing the safari in an open vehicle with a local guide.

Day 9

The Isimangaliso Wetland World Heritage Site is on our program for today. A very diverse biome, it supports more species of animals than the Kruger National Park. This incredibly beautiful area includes, beaches, reefs lakes swamps, wetlands, woodlands, grasslands and coastal forests. It stretches from Kosi Bay on our northern border with Mozambique to St Lucia in the south. If one has a few days extra, and the season is right, at night we do a night safari and walk on the beaches to find the turtles coming up to lay their eggs.

Day 10

Today we travel southwards towards Ballito for our flight out to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met by your Cape Town guide and taken on an orientation tour of Cape Town city, before arrival at your accommodation establishment

IN the evening it is suggested to take a short taxi drive to the Cape Town Waterfront, to enjoy the nightlife and restaurants available in this area.

Day 11

We depart after breakfast for a full day Cape of Good Hope tour, visiting Cape Point, Boulders Beach, Simonstown, Kalkbay and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Time permitting in the summer, one can easily fit in a cable ride up to Table Mountain.

Day 12

After breakfast we travel out of the city towards the vineyard areas of Stellenbosch and Franschoek. We visit various wine cellars, and historical areas. Our lunch stop today is in the gastronomic capital of Franschoek.

Day 13

Cape Town has a lot to offer, and today we drive to Hermanus for a hike through the Fernkloof Nature Reserve with a fynbos specialist and visit the harbour town, in the hope of seeing the whales which migrate north to these waters between June – November.

Day 14

As Cape Town city is the mother city, it is suggested that today, in preparation for your long flight out, we take it a little easy and do an in depth visit of the city. We visit the Bo Kaap, the Malay area of Cape Town, Woodstock, the City Bowl, Company Gardens and do a historical tour of the Waterfront.

In the afternoon we depart our accommodation and transfer to the Cape Town International Airport for our flight out to your final destination.
